Inspired from Ancient customs in some parts of India, Not Now Nancy's Truth Teller shows her depiction of the belief parrots and parakeets can tell people their fortunes.

Nancy explores mythology, folk law and history books to construct a harmonious image. She tells a story by combining hand drawn elements, found antique illustration and symbolic imagery.

Sustainable Materials: The mirror is upcycled excess material from a bar installation at a brewery, while the frame is repurposed from a charity shop. Due to the nature of working with upcycled materials, all pieces are unique and we make every effort to mitigate defects where possible.
